Olympic Plaza Skating
Yesterday morning we went downtown to Olympic Plaza to go skating. This is the place where the olympic medals were awarded in 1988. It's a great free place to go skating outdoors in Calgary. It wasn't overly busy when we got there but I am sure it picked up throughout the day. Luckily the ice had a refrigeration system to keep it cool as it was quite warm yesterday. The rink also had a zamboni that cleaned the ice. We hope to go back during one of their night time DJ events.
