About 5 years ago we were thinking of ways to spend part of the summer in Japan. We usually travel abroad in the summer to escape the heat of Japan. We found the perfect place to spend a hot summer day in Komatsu, Japan. The place was an old mine called Ogoya mine. It was closed in 1971 but remains open as a museum-type kind of place. Deep in the tunnels it was nice and cool. A great way to spend an August afternoon. I made this little video of our time there.
